If your wireless Zebra scanner is not working, there could be several possible reasons. Please review the following to resolve the issue:

1. Power Issues

  • Low Battery: The scanner may not be turning on because its battery is too low. Try charging the scanner for a while and see if it powers on.
  • Battery Connection: In some cases, the battery may not be properly seated. Try removing and re-inserting the battery.
  • Charging Dock/Port: Ensure the charging dock or cable is functioning. Test the charging dock with another device if possible.

2. Wireless Connection Issues

  • Pairing: If your scanner uses dongle, make sure it's properly connected or not.

    • If needed, unplug and plug the dongle.

3. Scanner Hardware Issues

  • Defective Scanner: There might be a hardware issue with the scanner itself. If none of the above steps resolve the problem, it could be an internal hardware fault (e.g., wireless chipset or broken dongle).
  • Check for Physical Damage: Inspect the scanner for any visible damage that might affect its functionality.

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Restart the Scanner: Power off and power on the scanner to reset it.
  2. Re-plug/Reconnect: Unplug and plug the scanner dongle with the device.
  3. Check for Interference: Move the scanner closer to the device.
  4. Test on Another Device: Try the scanner with a different device to isolate whether the problem is with the scanner or the vMeasure device it's trying to connect to.
